Manifestation, not creation. He taught that believers must understand that what they desire, if it is consistent with God’s will, already exists in Christ, since God has blessed us “with all spiritual blessings” (Ephesians 1:3). A miracle service, he said, is a platform for what is finished in Christ to be made manifest, not for something new to be created.
The spirit of faith. It is not enough to see or believe something inwardly; it must be declared. “We having the same spirit of faith … we also believe, and therefore speak” (2 Corinthians 4:13). He led the congregation to declare healing and lifting as done by faith.
Taking steps of faith. During ministry he encouraged people with crutches and other conditions not to be afraid of stepping out in faith, reminding them they had nothing to lose, and that if they tried and nothing happened, they could simply sit down.
