Possessing Your Possession: Keys to Manifesting God’s Promises in Your Life

Victory Belongs to You

The atmosphere was electric as voices rose together in one bold declaration: Victory. Victory over financial calamities. Victory over sickness. Victory over demonic assault. Victory over every area of life that has resisted breakthrough.

This was not wishful thinking. It was a faith declaration rooted in the eternal Word of God: “Thanks be to God who causes us always to triumph.” (2 Corinthians 2:14)

The message of the night was clear God is faithful. His Word stands. Heaven and earth will pass away, but His Word endures forever. The question is not whether the promises exist. The question is: do you know how to possess them?

The Theme: Possessing Your Possession

From Deuteronomy 2:24, the charge was given:

“Rise ye up, take your journey… Behold, I have given unto thy hand Sihon the Amorite… I have given it to you. Begin to possess it and contend with him in battle.”

God has already given it. But possession requires action. Like an awaited parcel that has been dispatched and confirmed — there comes the moment when it is knocked at your door and placed in your hands. Tonight was declared to be that moment of delivery.

Point 1 — It Is God’s Desire for You to Walk in Everything Jesus Died For

God is not withholding. He is not playing favorites.

Revelation 5:12 tells us that the Lamb who was slain received for us:

  • Power
  • Riches
  • Wisdom
  • Strength
  • Honor
  • Glory
  • Blessing

2 Peter 1:4 adds that He has given us “exceeding great and precious promises” so that we might become partakers of His divine nature.

It brings joy to the heart of the Father when His children walk in the fullness of what Christ died to provide. Settle this in your heart — God desires this for you.

Point 2 — Two Dimensions to Manifesting Spiritual Realities

Not every believer walks in the fullness of what Christ has provided, and there is a reason for that. There are two dimensions to receiving divine promises.

Dimension One: Knowing the Promises Are Available

You cannot receive what you do not know exists. The first step is knowing that promises like salvation, healing, deliverance, protection, favor, growth, and supernatural power are real — and that they are available in Christ, for you.

Declare it:

There are promises — in Christ — available for me.

Dimension Two: Knowing How to Translate Those Realities Into Your Life

Spiritual blessings reside in heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3), but you need them manifested here and now. John 1:14 captures this beautifully — “And the Word became flesh.” That is the conversion principle. Healing in Christ made manifest in your body. Deliverance in Christ made visible in your circumstances. Prosperity in Christ expressed in your finances.

Knowing the promise is step one. Knowing the technology of conversion is step two.

Point 3 — Exact Kingdom Laws and Keys Are Required

Conversion does not happen by wishing. “I wish to be healed” does not produce healing. There are specific, exact kingdom laws and keys that, when engaged diligently, translate spiritual realities into visible experience.

Here are five keys shared during the service:

Key 1 — Illumination

“In the school of dominion, the currency for transaction is light.”

The strength of darkness over a believer’s life is the absence of light — ignorance of what belongs to them in Christ. Paul’s prayer for the Ephesians and the Colossians was the same: that they would be flooded with light, that the eyes of their understanding would be enlightened to know:

  • The hope of His calling
  • The riches of the glory of the inheritance of the saints
  • The exceeding greatness of His power toward those who believe (Ephesians 1:18)

There is no dominion in the presence of ignorance. Seek illumination. Study the Word. Know what is yours.

Key 2 — Know the Participatory Conditions

Knowing the promises are available is necessary, but not enough. Every promise has conditions attached to it. Every dimension of God’s blessing has a pattern, a requirement, a way of engaging.

This is illustrated in the story of Cain and Abel (Genesis 4). It was not that God chose Abel over Cain arbitrarily. Abel offered according to the prescribed pattern; Cain did not. God’s response: “If you do well, will you not be accepted?”

For every manifestation of God’s glory whether healing, protection, financial increase, or influence there is a body of knowledge that governs it. The believer who walks in prosperity has discovered that it is available and has learned how to engage by faith. The same applies to health, deliverance, and advancement.

Wishing spiritual outcomes will leave you disappointed. Find out what engaging correctly looks like then do it.

Key 3 — Engage the Word in Prayer

“What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” (Mark 11:24)

Now that you know what belongs to you in Christ, take it to prayer. Engage the Word specifically:

  • For your finances: Pray for wisdom, direction, supernatural intelligence, and the ministry of the right people.
  • For your health: Appropriate the finished work of Christ. Speak over your body.
  • For your family: Pray for peace and progressive growth in the knowledge of God.
  • For your career: Ask for the spirit of excellence, wisdom to function like Daniel, and favor with leadership.
  • For spiritual attacks: Appropriate the victory of Christ. Remind the enemy that your victory is already established.

Prayer is not optional. It is the platform on which spiritual realities are made manifest. Paul and Silas were bound in prison — a legitimate excuse not to pray. But they prayed, they sang, and the doors opened. What looks like a reason not to pray is often the very reason you must.

When you pray:

Chains break and doors open

Key 4 — Release Your Faith Through Obedience

Faith, defined in one word, is obedience.

Deuteronomy 30:15-16 makes it plain — life, good, and blessing are connected to walking in God’s ways, keeping His commandments and statutes. Obedience is not just moral uprightness; it is the vehicle through which faith is expressed and results are produced.

  • Is any man afflicted? Let him pray. Not praying when afflicted is disobedience.
  • Want to grow in influence? The requirement is to hide, let Jesus be exalted, and allow Him to lift you.
  • Want to rise in your organization? You need not just a godly heart but an excellent spirit — like Daniel.

The simplicity of the gospel is its power. God says pray — pray. God says give — give. God says trust — trust. Many believers are too sophisticated to obey the simplicity of God’s ways. But those simple acts of compliance are exactly how the miraculous enters your life.

“Trust and obey, for there’s no other way to be happy in Jesus but to trust and obey.”

Key 5 — Engage the Mystery of Thanksgiving and Praise

Psalm 67:5-7 reveals a powerful principle: when God’s people praise Him, He gives the earth an instruction to yield its increase. The earth — people, systems, resources, opportunities — begins to respond.

Thanksgiving is not just an emotional response to what God has done. It is a spiritual technology that causes increase to flow. When others are experiencing a casting down, the believer engaged in praise is stepping into strange possibilities and unusual resources.

The nations will not just praise God when they see the fruit — they will fear Him. That is the kind of blessing that makes men stand in awe.

Six Areas of Prophetic Prayer

The service moved into focused, intentional warfare prayer over six critical areas of life. These are the areas where progress must be measured:

Strategic Relationships — Crying for good people, trusted allies, burden-bearers, and divine connectors. And becoming one of such people to others.

Spiritual Life — Reviving prayer life, passion for God, hunger for His Word, and spiritual fire.

Belief Systems — Dismantling limiting beliefs, poverty mindsets, fear, and low self-esteem that partner with defeat. Receiving the mind of Christ.

Health and Vitality — Commanding every sickness and disease to leave. Appropriating Christ’s provision of healing from the crown of the head to the soles of the feet.

Purpose and Destiny — No more delay. Stepping into the volume of the book written concerning you. Every Red Sea confronted and every door opened.

Financial Growth — The wisdom, the relationships, and the grace to produce profit. Ideas released from heaven. Strategic divine connections repositioning finances.

A Night of Impartation

Special impartations were released during the service, including:

  • Divine speed — What has taken years beginning to happen in accelerated time.
  • Career shifts — Strange openings, remote opportunities, and unexpected promotions in the next two weeks.
  • Five graces for lasting impact: Conceiving, Birthing, Growing, Establishing, and Sustaining.
  • Gates of nations opening for Coonia Global and its family across the world.
  • Academic breakthroughs for children — scholarships and acceptance where rejection stood before.
  • Staying power — The grace of the cedar tree: rooted deeply, built to last, and sustained by the mercy of God.
  • Favor — Ease, strange possibilities, and resources from unusual sources.
  • Divine announcement — Visibility and influence released so that God would take His people from obscurity and announce them to their generation.

The Altar Call: A New Beginning

Many responded to the call to give their lives to Jesus Christ and to rededicate themselves fully to His lordship. If you were not there but your heart is stirred, you too can make this declaration:

Lord Jesus, tonight I have heard Your Word. I declare that You are my Savior, my Lord, and my King. The power of sin, Satan, hell, and the grave is broken over my life. From tonight, I declare that I am a child of God. I receive grace to go forward ever and backward never. Amen.

Closing Word

This was the final edition of Worship and Warfare for this season. But the grace received does not expire with the meeting. The Word declares that what God has spoken will find its manifestation. The prophetic parcels have been dispatched. Possess your possession.
